Boyue Likebook recently released a software update (version 2021061715) that introduced dark mode to their Likebook e-reader series, alongside several other enhancements and bug fixes.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to enable this feature on your Likebook e-reader.
Note
You will need to be on version 2021061715 (or newer) for this to work. Please install the update if you haven’t done so already.
- Open any book using the default reader app (Library)
- Tap the centre of your display to bring up the reading settings drawer.
- Tap on the “Settings” icon at the bottom right of your screen as show below.
4. Tap on “More Settings” (at the bottom of the list of options)
5. Check the “night mode” checkbox as shown below.
6. Go back to your book and tap the centre of your display again to bring up the reading settings drawer.
7. You should now see a little crescent icon at the bottom right region of your display as shown below. Tap it to enable dark mode!
